My first showing (6 of each) of PSB, Kale and Brussels have not germinated with the exception of 1 PSB. Is it to late to try again or do I have to spend some money on young plants from the Garden Centre.

I have sown calabrese for a summer harvest but I've found it better for me to sow PSB and Kale in mid-late May for the following Spring because if I sow them earlier they tend to bolt during the summer and then I miss out in the spring.

Done sprouts and PSB today, (amongst others), don't like to do them too early.

I believe that the growing season is still about 2 weeks behind last year. I was preparing a beetroot bed yesterday and thought the ground was still cold.
My brassica seed failed in late March but a later sowing was OK. With those seeds I now sow little and often to try and prevent gluts.

Only sowed mine last Friday - the first of them popped their heads through this morning.
