I've never grown them but I am intrigued by the numerous spelling possibilities - at the moment 'Borlotto' and Borlotti' seem to be about joint favourites , and both can be found on Gurgle, seemingly referring to the same variety. Strange.   ;)

Assuming they're Italian, I would suggest that 'Borlotto' is singular and 'Borlotti' is plurlal.

Beware those advertising 'Borlotto' seeds then - you might only get one which could work out rather expensive!
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

It should be Borlotto seeds I think, rather than trying to pluralize the name - that doesn't seem to make sense in Italian

My first year with Borlotti and I've read all the posts.  Thanks,

I grew some dwarf borlottis which are all out now and I'm drying them, a good crop.  I have also grown some climbing borlottis.  They are still going strong but I'm not sure that they are as prolific in the pod department as the dwarf plants

I have today checked my beans and they are still green on the inside, so the question is will they ripen, can I or even will I be able o use any of my potential harvest.

Fingers crossed xx
