Has anyone planted ocas yet?
« on: April 14, 2014, 07:35 »
Mine are chitting well and I'm thinking of putting them in. However, I read an article or another blog somewhere that they are just as happy being planted in modules until planting in the autumn. Not sure what to do now. Also, do I just feed the soil as if for spuds?

I planted mine about two weeks ago. The instructions said treat them like potatoes so that is what I did.

Mine have just come up in their pots, but I won't be planting them out yet.

Not planted mine yet. I read somewhere that May was the time to plant them so will probably plant them first week.

Those that got left behind are growing nicely, so it certainly is OK to plant them out around here ;)

Mine were starting to show signs of sprouting so went into pots about a week ago.  They are in the cold greenhouse, but are not showing any top growth yet.  They will get transferred to the plot as soon as they do and I have got the ground ready for them  :)

Spares currently being distributed to friends at work and other plot holders.  They got a bit of interest last year as no-one had any clue what I was growing
