I still have a lot of very small beetroot.  How long might this continue to grow.  Could I give it a feed to boost it.  Seems to grow very slowly.  Thanks

they might e good for salad leaves or some baby beetroot, eventually.

A feed might help. We got large beetroot this year due to the application of manure last autumn.

I don't think it's worth feeding them now as it's the lack of warmth and sunshine that's limiting their growth rather than lack of nutrients. I reckon they'll keep growing slowly for the next month or two, but don't expect miracles.

Baby beets are great, mine are still happily growing. Leaves look rough but the beets are great

They will grow a lot in the next month if we do not get much frost. Pull the earth up against them to give some protection. Keep them watered.
