planted some casablanca on 3rd april, and dug some today.got a meals worth from 2 plants.variety was casablanca - nearly perfect condition tasted great, will be growing these again.

just thought i would post my results as alot of ppl are bound to be tempted to furtle!

Just down the road from you near Caistor. Did they flower before you dug them? I'm going to have a dig on father's day as mine have been flowering for a few days now but I certainly hope I get more that one meal's worth from two plants. You must have grown a lot.

Planted out my Rocket on 6th April.  Haven't even got flowers on mine yet!

one of them is just starting to flower, i dont take any notice of the flowering tbh.i put them in as soon as th soil is ready and i usually start eating them at the end of may for 2 reasons.
1 they are expensive in the shops
2 they only have to last until july when the 2nd earlies start coming in.

i just set one 2.5 kg bag of seed.

Planted some rocket in planter in Feb,when I was watering Wednesday night I saw one on the top of the planter it was 3 inches wide I could not believe it,going to empty planter with dad on Sunday. Flowers finished 2 weeks ago.the ones I planted in the soil in the tunnel are about a week behind the planter might dig on of these up on Sunday as well.
