As plants grow keep moving up a pot size and bury the stork to the next set of leaves so that they grow a good root system feeding with general purpose fertilizer .  When flowering move to the biggest size pot, grow bag etc.,  and feed with tomato feed.  No need to remove the flowers, they are the fruits after all, and just make sure you feed and water well.  Tomatoes are the most uncomplicated veg to grow.

Tomatoes are the most uncomplicated veg to grow.

Other than the fact they're a fruit!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Hardening off toms is a bit dicey at the moment too.

We want to put a dozen Sungold in the greenhouse this weekend, and meanwhile, they're in the conservatory, and getting more legs than a happy hour in a leg shop!

The Gardener's Delight and the Black Krim, are all hardening off, with a plastic cover at night, and getting very muscular in the process! I feared for them all last night, but they all pulled through!

All part of the 'fun'...:0)

Wisdom and knowledge:

Knowledge is knowing that  a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom      is knowing  not to put it into a fruit salad.
