Picked up about 10 packets yesterday at that price you cant go wrong

I went today to our local lidl and picked up 6 packets of various seeds for £1.50, just hope they are as good as the price but if they aren't I haven't lost a lot!

Picked up about a dozen packets today, mini greenhouse with  50 strawberry, basil, and parsley 99p each.  Came to a grand total of £6.50.  Can't go wrong but time will tell I suppose roll on spring.

Hey Kev, nice to see a fellow gardener from nearby. Im in bicester too  I shall be raiding the lidl seeds today. Its also worth noting Aldi down the road have fruit trees in stock for £3.99 and a nice selection too.

Hi there. I did see the trees down at Aldi although I've not invested in them. I got 4 box balls out of the big Tescos the other week. 2 in there for £20 quid and they are a decent size. There was still a handful left when I went there yesterday. They got some in last year for the same price and they went in 24 hours!
I've got half a plot in Leach Road, half way up on the left - think it is plot 11a...I've only had it just over 3 years and still don't know my plot number yet!

Today I bought seed packets of Dwarf French Beans, Chives, Gherkins, Swiss Chard, Courgettes x 2 (Di Nizza and Diamant) and a mini-greenhouse containing growing kit for Minibel toms.  All for the princely sum of £2.97!

If only 5% of what I bought actually comes to fruition, it would still have been well worth it.
