Happy new year
new member seeking advise
Do broad bean seeds last more than a year ?
Having trouble getting last years seed to germinate in unheated greenhouse.

Bean seeds will keep for ages correctly stored.

Are they not germinating or rotting before they can germinate? Have you had a poke around to see what if anything is going on?

I have mice in my greenhouse and they just love beans and pea shoots so for that reason I have to cover the containers with a clear plastic lid until the shoots are well up. It took me a while to figure out what was happening but the solution is quite simple and now I get at least 80 percent germination.
