  Due to our friend's eagle eyes they popped in on their way back from Trasco with 8 600 ml tubs of double cream at 10p each - just done some calculating and we now have butter at a cost of 7p per 250 gram and a load of buttermilk as well :blink: :blink: :blink:

Damn, didn't think of making butter! They have thrown loads out today.

However, I did get two packs of 18  Nouvelle loorolls for £2.50 per pack. Bit grey but who cares with where it ends up? (Sorry)

I haven't seen any cheap cream for ages and all my butter has gone!!!

Between this and bargain hunting on the day after Boxing Day, I now have about 5 kg frozen!!!!!!!!!!! Though the first lot were working out at a massive 41 p per 250 gram
