I've only had the ones they use for the Mc D's brekkies but they taste fine to me.

It also saves on the disappointment (and mess) when you unwrap your lovingly cosseted egg to find nowt but slime and bits of shell so I would say go for it.

Why don't you give it a trial run at home?

I was going to have a looksee for some powdered egg for my store cupboard 'just in case'.

Q Is dehydrated scrambled egg any good?
A No

Reminds me of a Fawlty Towers quote:
Master Heath: That's PUKE, that is.
Basil Fawlty: Well, at least it's FRESH puke!

Although with dehydrated egg it's not fresh either

Crack a couple of eggs to completely fill a small 'tupperware'  - should last a day or two on a cold March ramble - no worries about broken shells or yolks either.
