i picked up a pk of waight watchers butter , on offer in asda 1 pound but its only 200g thought i would see ow it performed .

Some yummy ideas here already. As a current 'weight loser' here sre some ideas that have helped that can easily be continued into festive food

One idea I have found helps is not too have carb-heavy meals but try to replace these with other veg instead, especially root veg and squashes.

Roast meats are good anyway

Also, making mince pies with only a pastry top, rather than a base and a lid

Low fat custard or lf plain yoghourt instead of cream

'Festival fruit': stewed apple, pears with added dried fruit, with cloves and cinnamon is delicious

Just a small portion of really strong tasty cheese rather than lots of middly flavoured, with plain crackers

and I've not made a festive cake or pudding this year as I know I shall eat too much of it if it is looking at me indoors  :lol:
