Where to get water tank
« on: October 04, 2012, 23:28 »
Looking to get one of those large cube-like 'IBC' 1000 litre caged white plastic tanks that I often see at allotments. Anyone know where to get these at reasonabel cost, *and* have it delivered to the plot? I think these tanks are recycled from food industry use. Thanks.

If you put your location in your profile, it may help people make other suggestions.  Like are you anywhere near the A16?  :)

Look on ebay, generally available at £30-£50 plus delivery, this is on the expensive side, if you ask at local businesses they might do one delivered for £20.

Your local council may give away wheeless wheely bins if you ask - you could club together on your site and get a van load
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
