I am having to pull all of mine as they are bolting, even the main crop.  I have some that I have sown from seed that are still quite small and green so I am hoping that I may have a least a few keepers but I am not holding my breath.

My autumn onions bent themselves over, which they have never done before.

The onions were huge (well huge for me, as in about 4ins across), so after two weeks of being bent we dug them up and they are drying off a bit in the garage, and being used as we go.

The maincrop ones won't be ready until around the end of September

Mine were the same - I thought the first ones to flop over were due to wind buffetting the side of the plot but then we had calm days after and the rest of the bed flopped over but remained very green.  Unfortunately, as I waited for them to die back naturally, we also had several days of torrential rains and the onions just kept getting bigger but also split.  When I finally got the opportunity to lift them, most were huge which if it wasn't for the splitting I would have been over the moon 

But would I pull or bend?  Normally I like them to die back naturally so don't bend them and preferably wait for a dry day to lift.  This year has certainly been a challenge

I've got a good crop surprisingly of the red ow ones will they keep as well as the main crop if i dry them well. I've only got white maincrops.
