I've noticed this on all six of my potato leaves, they were planted out in March.  Shall i just remove all the yellow leaves?

Well if they're a first early, they might be nearly ready. The leaves will start to die back once they get near. Alternatively, only the bottom leaves being yellow could indicate a nitrogen deficiency. What variety/type are they?

Hmmm I think the are the first early variety, I will go and find the packet they came in.  I knew nothing about first early etc until I spoke to the chap in the garden centre!  Complete newby.

They are Maris Peer, to be honest they are not very big right now, which is probably a good thing as I have not yet covered the stems with any more soil!  The pack says that they are second early.
