I don't want to win anything Jay. I am not competative, unless it is canasta,  ;)

I just like sharing the little knowledge that I  have and love picking up new ideas from all you guys.

I have done the freeze parsley in  a bag and whack it but find it slightly too coarse for  my needs. And when I do it that way, that is when I do forget to label it

All herbs are best fresh but in the depths of winter, they are very useful.
I believe that herbs are best picked in the morning;something to do with the sun and the herbs essential oils. :)

Yes, I have fond memories of picking up a pack of 'fresh' herbs in Sainsbury, and on reading the label found they'd been shipped from Israel :)

my flat leaf parsley grows like a weed out here:) but I do use a lot of it with cooking (just love growing and cooking my own stuff)!  I am now on my 2nd sowing of parsnips - little blighters are so unreliable (yes seed was fresh)  Basil and parsely are sown in pots in my little plastic zip-up greenhouse - no probs with germination for me.
Now what shall I do today?

My patch of self-sown parsley weeds:

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I've also sown fresh as that could well behave as second year parsley, seeing as it appeared in the autumn of last year.
