Ouch, that sounds scary I got rid of tons, but as I checked the surface I could see tiny bits i must have speared, I hoped they would dry out on the surface, will get the devils today, yep re-assuring though that if you keep on top they get a little better, thats what my lottie neighbour said too. I was digging with a spade turning the soil over in one heap then piulling it out, then going through with a trowel and fork, and still there were bits I had chopped, nasty stuff

Don't worry Casper, you've clearly done the business of a serious clear-out!

The odd bits won't bother you this year, and when you turn the soil over in a few monhs, you'll see just how much you did, and you can hoik out the smaller - and struggling couch bits!
