hi there, i have just dug up potatoes, they are from last years planted ones or compost ones! are they safe to eat???? also can i chit the smaller ones and replant? :unsure: all comments welcome.

They're safe to eat, but if you keep replanting your own, you run the risk of carrying disease over.

They also need 60 days of dormancy before you can replant them, by then you're running into all sorts of complications in keeping them growing.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
