Welcome back flyxfish though I am a tad confused by this post.  Also, please remove the caps lock as it is hard for some to read and considered shouting on a forum.

I don't very often enter the hen house, far too smelly in there and that's just the owners.  ;) Hopefully someone will know how to put the answers to the questions.

Thanks Joyfull, I was a bit confused for a minute there, too.

flyxfish, thanks for all the extra info.  It does help to know more about your girl.

The fact that there is no smell, scabbing, dampness or discharge in the area means it's probably not a fungal or bacterial infection.  The spots or pimples are likely to be new feathers growing back, under the skin.

To me it sounds like your chicken may be going broody.  As Bantam Novice mentioned, chickens often pluck out their breast feathers when they go broody.  This allows them to keep their eggs warmer.  It is a bit puzzling if she has never laid an egg though.

Has she shown any other changes to her behaviousr - like sitting longer on the nest and not wanting to come out?

Is there any chance of you posting a photo for us to see?  It's very hard to guess what might be wrong without inspecting her.  This all might be something perfectly normal, or it might be a problem... it's just so hard to tell!

P.S. Glad to hear that your own health is good after your hospital visit.

...4/PERCH IS 75MM AND HAS ROUND EDGES...

That perch sounds perfect, but something else has just ocurred to me:  is she actually using the perch at night?  If she is sleeping in the nest box or on the floor, she may have been sleeping all night in poo.  That could give her ammonia burns on her chest.

This is especially a risk in hot weather, and if she has a high-protein diet.  The heat means she (and her flock-mates) will be drinking more water and their poo may be wetter.  Extra protein in the diet can create more ammonia in the poo.

If you think this might be her problem, there are thee things you can do:
  • Encourage her to sleep on the perch (is anyone bullying her off the perch at night?)
  • Make sure all the litter is clean and dry.  You might need to change it more often
  • Make sure she always has somewhere dry to dust-bathe so she can keep her feathers and skin in good condition

What a bit of luck when i was out ,with my daughter has  a friend of hers that breeds fancy hens thats the ones that lay blue eggs, well she came and had a look at my poorly girl, and straight away she said that she had gone broody, and not to worry, she will give me some fertilised eggs for her to sit on , the only thing that i have to do is make sure she eats ,as sometimes they will just sit and sit and not feed. well thats all for now thank you all for your help i am very greatfull yours flyxfish, ps i will let you know how things turn out
