What do you plant when you have harvested your potatoes?

I wonder if you have any tips.

I'm gradually lifting my early potatoes, which have done really well. It's my first year on a half allotment plot and I'm unsure what I could put in.  I have one row almost empty.

I use the space for my leeks, which are currently growing in modules in the cold frame.
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

Thanks Aelf,

I think that means that I've messed up a bit then! I took the plot on this spring and there were leeks over wintering where I then planted the potatoes. Do you think that will matter? I'm struggling to get my head around crop rotation!

May be to late to start French Beans but could give it a try or chard which you can start from seed.
Failing that green manure.

I'm going to green manure with field beans and lupins.    Cheers,    Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

Thank you, I think I'll try chard. Never grown it before or even tasted it but it looks pretty  :)

you don't need a lot of chard or perp spinach to keep you in greens.... how about some lettuce/salads as well?
