Hope someone can help. My courgette plants are on my landing outside and are doing well but some of the leave have broken during high winds, the stalk bent and snapped so the leaf is sort of dangling and dying. Should i cut these leaves off at the base or just leave them. Same with some of the male flowers where the flower had died/fallen off and left just a stalk. Cut them off or leave them?

I would cut the dying leaves off at the base, just to avoid any rot or fungus getting hold. The male flower stalks will take care of themselves. Might be a good idea to feed the plant as well, give it a boost as it makes new leaves

Thanks for the reply! Will do that, and have bought some Tomorite, is this ok for courgettes? I need it anyway for tomatoes, chillis, peppers, etc...
