It's great isn't it; all shapes and sizes from the tiny little looping threads of leek shoots to the relatively huge brutes of runner bean shoots which sometimes bust their way through the sides of the paper pots in their rush to get to the light!

And that's just the beginning!  :)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

Don't forget the foil.

Got to think about my mining shares! :tongue2:
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I agree with the foil. Tried it for the first time last year after getting fed up with leggy "leaning" plants. I no longer have to keep turning the tray round to keep my chilli plants and toms upright and they dont go leggy.

I love getting up in the morning and seeing the new leaves coming out of the compost.   :D  Almost as good as watching the kids grow adn certainly cheaper and less stress.

Even better when you almost reach the end of germination time, lose hope, then up they come  :D, slowly, strong & steady  ;)
