Grain Storage

I have a huge problem with mice here, I have dustbins for my corn etc but want a better storage bin without spending the earth.  Any ideas of containers that could be recycled for this purpose, free if possible, rapidly running out of savings

any large plastic containers  will do. we  have cats so we have cat-food conatainers, and when we buy a 50 pound bag and put it into 5-6 containers. we reuse them, and have never had  problems with weavels (they infest food, and live in it)

I need substantial size containers though as I buy from market in 25kilo bags. mixed corn and barley etc for all the birds, Ducks Geese and Chickens.  Managed to get some really big toy boxes today that hold 2 sacks full so they are great I just can't move them when they're full!!

I use a metal dustbin; you can get 2 sacks of feed in each and although our lottier is full of rats we've never had a problem
