Just got back from the plot, the BB's are looking very sorry for themselves, hanging a little limp. They dont like this frost!

Mine are also looking very limp first time I have tried to grow BB's we love them.
Hopefully they will make a recovery, I will go and have a chat with them later

I have had a little  chat with BB's, we will see if your advice has worked  David when I go up to lottie tomorrow.

Well mine are haveing there 5th hard frost, and thay dont like it one bit

Like Rink also in shropshire and mine aren't to keen on regular night frosts, this morning the temp sensor in Mrs Stents car said -9. So off to the plot in the morning to see how they are doing.

Well just a update, I lost all of my Aquadulce Claudia ,broad beans,and all  my Douce de Provence ,autumn sowing , peas , so i wont go down that road againg

I've often said that as much as I like peas, the hassle of trying to keep them going over winter is just not worth that couple of weeks for an earlier crop.
