i just need to know do you need a cockerel with the hens to get eggs
sorry if this is a stupid thing to ask but as i have just moved house and now have a very large garden i would like a few chickens but dont want to upset the neighbors with the racket coming from the cockerel

No cockerel required. Hens will will lay as normal without one.
