My pea plants are full of tiny holes (they have grown very leggy as well). Same as my lettuces and many other plants i.e radish all have tiny holes. Like flea beetle damage but I haven't seen one. What is doing this? Everything on my allotmnent plot seems very slow and not growing much. It is a new plot and all that seems to grow well are weeds everywhere.
I feel very dis-heartened today as I have worked so hard over the last 6 months and only had 5 strawberries for all of my efforts :-(

And sorry to hear your peas are playing up 

You've had 5 more strawberries than me - I've had nothing off my plot yet this season, everything's behind so please don't feel too despondent.

I'm not sure what the answer to your peas is, but someone should be along shortly who can help, and keep your chin up!

It sounds like flea beatle to me, though I  don't know if they eat pea leaves, but they have nibbled tiny holes in some of my pak choi, rocket and mizuna.

You don't often see flea beetle cos they jump off so quickly when you touch the plants :blink:

I'll keep my chin up and go again tomorrow with positive thoughts. So far everything has been eaten by rabbits, pigeons now possibly flea beetles. Even all my runner beans have all been chomped at the tops.
