Rhubarb yet again.
« on: October 09, 2009, 23:20 »
Well ive been good and not took any of my rhubarb since the longest day.

What im not sure of now is do i just leave all the stems and leaves just to die now?

And when they have turned all brown do i cut them off or just leave them there to rot?

Cheers MW.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

I leave mine to rot and add manure for good measure over the winter.   :)
Cheese makes everything better.

I move all my dead foilage and shove it in the compost, and generally tidy it up before throwing on some bfb, chicken pellets and manure

Like Ice I also leave mine to rot, but a also mark where they are as once they've rotted down I loose them in the patch and only find them when the rotivator throwes then in the air.
I may take my time.....but i'll get there in the end.
