I would deffo rotate properly if i had a lottie, but in very small garden beds you are very restricted so the plan doesn't always work and definately can't afford to leave beds resting for long 
But rotations, like rules are made to be broken sometimes

Hate to rotate, then temp fate mate, and you'll be in a state.
Better rotate, it's great. Your aspirations not to deflate.
