Peas?
« on: July 12, 2009, 21:21 »
Well have grown peas for a few years now every year white flowers same this year but I popped what I thought were a second sowing of pea plants in and were growing slower than normal and now have a burgandy flower. So my question is are these peas?

You have not lost the battle unless you quit :)

Picture?

You can get peas with colourful flowers. (No - not sweet peas - proper peas! :tongue2:)
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Or was it a bean?

They are! Gorgeous! (but you cant eat em  >:( )

Yes they do get pods, but they will be small and furry, so you won't get them mixed up.

They should be chopped off to prolong the flowering period.

Now you've got it - don't lose it!
