Failed perennials..
« on: June 13, 2009, 15:47 »
Don't know what I do wrong....

Planted 50 dwarf iris early last year and they flowered. This year 2 of them are flowering and the rest have very thin weedy leaves. When I dig out the bulb it has no roots.

I see other people's knifophia are flowering. Mine did last year, 1 year after planting but now it is a big leafy plant with NO flowers.

Suggestions welcome.

I've had very poor results with dwarf iris too - pity as iris are my favourite flower. Can't advise however, as I'm probably worse than you at them!!
