I didn't expect to get the number of eggs that we do :D  More than we can eat so friends and family get them too.  Most say they can taste the difference and don't want to buy supermarket eggs again.  Definatley try frying the eggs - they are fantastic.  Enjoy keeping your girls

they're really beautiful.

re: the wall thing - our run has got a mesh roof on it, so you might find it an idea to set up something like that (high enough so you can still walk under it).  I know clipping wings doesn't hurt, but i feel like it stops them from acting like real chickens, so a roof is the best plan in that respect.
they'll still be able to see the sky.
and maybe put up some kind of "jungle gym" (a couple of thick branches or bits of wood screwed into the wall higher up) they won't use it for a while, but when they used to it all, they'll love it!

best of luck.  :)

well heres whats happening at the min.. They all seem ok this morning .They had knocked over all there food in the feeder whoops. now i have noticed that one seems to peck at the other two when they go near or in the coop she  sorts her bed out so it seems and wont let either two in or near she bullys them out so there out in the garden roaming .And she stays in or near the coop and when they  come boom shes there like a shot  kicking them out..
Im taking this is what you call the pecking order. With the cat thats out and about its not really bothered just curious as to what the hens are so it seems anyway ..

i hope this is all normal they are feeding ok and drinking so they seem fine just they keep out of the way of her..
All good   :D
