Good news: No impacted or sour crop. Everything has been digested and poop is normal and healthy.
Bad news: No improvement and still not walking.

HELP! lame chick

Update on the sick Pew Pew:

We are happy to be assured there is no death sentence and its definitely not Mareks.  :D
I called these people today: http://www.sosgali.org/ (sorry, its in French) and described all of the symptoms. They are basically "SOS Chicken" in France.
They seem to think that its a respiratory problem that went into the legs and that this is pretty frequent in winter with young chickens.
Hmmm..I'm not sold.  I had previously said that there was no noticeable injury. However, I don't normally look at my chickens' legs and at the time they were both the same and apparently normal.  Both were the same size and color (dark). Today, one is reduced in size and pink, whereas the right is still dark and now appears swollen compared with the other. Left side healing more quickly than the right maybe?  Anyone ever see both of a chicken's leg muscles go from purple to pink?  I pledge to go out and examine all of my birds so I know what they look like Normally!

So, the SOS chicken people have prescribed antibiotics and 50mg of Advil. We'll see how it goes.  I'm remaining optimistic.  Thank you again for all of the input!  Happy Holidays!

hi at least the chick is hanging on -I am sure they know what they are doing -there is a form of cocci that can cause lameness without any apparent symptoms but it does sit in the respiratory system for a while too. Mareks usually affects growers not chicks.
Good luck with the little un -everything crossed! :D
