What we would like to do is obviously use a lot our selves but also try and find on outlet to sell some and then we can plough that money into the community garden....it's cost us a lot of money so far!

Look at ebay no end of peeps sell seeds on there, also ebid cheaper than ebay.

I was thinking about e-bay :)

if you could get some volunteers to grow some stuff from the seeds then you could sell the plants too. We do that to raise funds for our in bloom group and find that we can do a bundle on bedding plants.  Our best seller though is beetroot. We raise them from cadged seeds and then sell them when they're ready. We do a beetroot and wallflower plant sale in October. Not sure why beetroot but folks round here go mad for it. Beetroots in fives and  wallflowers in a bundle of 10.  Money in the bank  :D

Just a thought  :D

Some help growing them would be fantastic but being newcomers up here we only have our neighbours....but I shall put it ti them!! :)

OHMIGOD Aggy!

What fun to sort through that lot and catalogue them!?!?!?!  Wish I could help!  I enjoyed sorting out my collection - I always buy more then I grow or would have space for!  I couldn't resist the closing down sale at the local Van Hague last year - Wilko's have cheap seeds too.

Am very intrigued at CompostQueen's recent purchase of 50p seeds (she says sitting on hands so she doesn't buy anymore!!)  :D   :tongue2:    :D    :tongue2:

could we members on here help the project by sending stamped addressed jiffy envelopes to you with a cheque for the cause, in return for some  seeds.  Just decide how much they are put a list on here with prices and we can pm you our orders and sort it out.

OOPS just remebered no for sales on here but will the moderators look upon this as the good cause that it is, and overlook the money bit :D
