Yehh. I think the very least they can do is throw in a few seed trays, and a propagator or two?

They did us give about 200 pots too!!!! ....and are going to save all the large ceramic pots that have got a little damage to them and also some gorgeous colourful pots that have the paint is coming off in tiny places!!!!
I feel as if I've won the lottery!!  :o  :o

Seeds companies will give them away if you ask  :D   If they are getting towards being out of date, and possibly germination might not be top notch, they don't want to be accused of selling poor seed but they'll give it to you for nothing, that way they don't get a bad reputation if germination isn't 100% which they guarantee or your money back

Seed kept in a Tupperware in the fridge last yonks  :D

I'm going to a seed swop today.  Can't wait  :D

Not catalogued yet....that's gonna take some time!!! Have just managed to get them in separate veggie/flower bags!
We are very lucky! :)
What we would like to do is obviously use a lot our selves but also try and find on outlet to sell some and then we can plough that money into the community garden....it's cost us a lot of money so far!

if you could get some volunteers to grow some stuff from the seeds then you could sell the plants too. We do that to raise funds for our in bloom group and find that we can do a bundle on bedding plants.  Our best seller though is beetroot. We raise them from cadged seeds and then sell them when they're ready. We do a beetroot and wallflower plant sale in October. Not sure why beetroot but folks round here go mad for it. Beetroots in fives and  wallflowers in a bundle of 10.  Money in the bank  :D

Just a thought  :D
