:?  thought I would sow some Radishes today - have covered them with fleece - read in one of my books that Radishes can usually be sown in late Jan/early Feb if they are kept covered. Do you think they should be ok - or do you think I've sown them a bit early?

take the thought taht the south wil warm up sooner than the north by 2 weeks mate . if you coveed them they should come unless the severe snow and ice comes .. good luck with them

yeah - gonna keep them all covered in thier fleece - do you think I should cloche them as well?  :?

have ya got cloches already if so yeh use em they aint doing nowt else mate .

i put a grow bag on top of the hot manure pile in mid december planted some mixed letucce the cut and come again type and some radishs and put an old fish tank i found over them worked a treat going to make a proper hot box next year the things you do when your bored

The first year I had me plot I sowed some radish in Feb and they did better than those later which seem to always get hit by the cabbage root fly, kept them under glass the whole time.
