Could someone with a little more knowledge take a look see at these, (I've linked them rather than put the image inline as its a little big)

Red Cap Cabbage

They were planted out 19/04 , the cage is a little over 3ft square and there are 4 in it. Is it worth leaving them and seeing if they heart up or should I pull them and put some sprouts there instead?

Heres T&Ms blurp but I think they're telling porkies.

Time enough yet for red cabbage to hearten up, so don't worry. But if one brassica wasn't doing well in a particular position, I wouldn't personally replace it with another.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I don't like to agree with DD., he hates it, but also they look like they might be just about starting to harten up. I'd let them do their thing,

Might be an idea to gently loose the marky looking old leaves, and earth up to leaf level and give a feed.

PS: I thought there were 5 or 6 there and rather closely planted, but hey, don't move them now.

Shakes head .... Im off to stand in the corner as I cant count to five - Oh the shame. T&M said 10inches between them for small heads, I was expecting lovely small, compact bundles of cabbagey goodness, these are bigger then my hispi's.
