oooooh Where exactly is that market?

We enjoy the Marylebone FM but its like going to work... next to Ginger Pig & la Fromagerie
Palmers Green is very hit and miss
St Albans is pretty good, lots of other good shops (for the girls....)
Loughton is ok, just near Epping
other out in Herts are also a bit hit & miss

better then Tescos though
except for wine, cleaning products, cat food, money off coupons
etc, etc, etc

Snorbens apparantly has more pubs per square metre, or per head of population or something...than any other town in the UK.
If you wanted to go a bit further afield, the FM at Harpenden is quite good, as is the one at Woburn (I think you can google them for the dates)

Walthamstow FM is on the high street, a couple of mins walk from the tube station. Small but good range of stalls, including honey, cakes, bread, veg, pies and, to my delight, raw milk! Got my chook too. The amazing woman who learnt how to pig farm in prison and set up Giggly Pigs was there too. In a fortnight, there's going to be a plant fair, so I will be returning!

Can you explain what black pudding is?  I've never heard of it.

Hi Judy

Black pudding is a very British or more acuratly a Scotish sausage, you slice it and fry it to go with a cooked breakfast.  It's really yummy  :D

Basically it's a blood sausage :

Tried a new black pud from Wiatrose last weekend
'Bury' recipe.
Tasted not unlike Paxo Sage & Onion stuffing (which I confess to liking)
Not as good as the old one
Tecos own label version was actually quite good

On the lookout for another one for this weekend

Will avoid the one in the shiny black 'skin'
