What colour is your Eglu - my cube is green and I don't have flies!

My eglu or run is never bothered by flys.  No idea why, just don't have any  :?

It's a green eglu and it's in the shade by afternoon and I add garlic powder to the chooks feed.  All those things could help I suppose

I use garlic in stables to keep flies at bay can sprinkle it in the shavings/straw... might be worth a try in the affected Eglu...

Mine is green  I realy wanted purple but my dear husband said green was more tasteful......(don't know when he suddenly discovered good taste.!
