What to use to hold netting down???

I have got some debris netting and wooden stakes to support it, any suggestions of how to pin it into the soil??

I use thick galvanised garden wire from B & Q.

Cheap & you can cut it to any length to suit.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

bricks or milk cartons full of water
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I like the look of my lottie neighbour's combined anti -rabbit and -pigeon fortifications, 2 ft high chain link with netting tied over the top, supported at intervals in the middle with I think it was plastic bottles on canes, but I was too busy and in too much of a hurry to really look.  :oops:
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

soak em over night in a bucket of water  :wink:
