I'm chuffed to bits. I've just managed to aquire loads of slabs from a neighbour's skip. They're all broken in half but will do nicely for paving my jungle of a path down the allotment  
Now all I need to do is make half a dozen trips down, with my car's suspension sagging and learn how to lay a path!
This may be an ongoing project. :roll:

I hope so! We took two car loads down today (only about 4 slabs worth each trip and the car still drove like a tank!) hoping to take another in the morning but other half has done his back in carrying the three unbroken ones. We tried using the wheelbarrow but with the slab on it wouldn't fit through the gate. I'm just piling them up for now as the weeds and planting need to take priority. If you've seen Digger Dave's patio picture - that's just like mine! I got my Dad to make me a large wooden coldframe to free up the conservatory and ended up filling both plus three plastic coldframes!
