I'm so excited, i've just been told i have an allotment.....well, sharing with a pigeon keeper but i don't mind, its somewhere to grow.....going up to see it later on after dinner 
This now means i dont have to use so much of my garden, my babies will be happy.
I'm forwarning you all to expect lots of questions and please bare with me, this is my first time growing on a larger scale (larger than my back garden and tubs!)

Well done Foxi Loxi.  Will you keep some chicken lickenings with the pigeons?  Soon you'll be so addicted and you'll go cold turkey lurkey if you away for more than a few days    May be you'll be able to use the pigeons poo for fertilizer?

Thanks for the replies guys. Oh how i did laugh Lee!

Went to see my lovely little bit of land today, needs a bit of work but i'm looking forward to it! (may not feel that way when my back is crippling me lol)

I'll get some pictures up as soon as i can, i'll try before and after shots 

Oh and i'm in Guisborough Mike was born in Middlesbrough!

Fantastic it looks like a great plot.

Like somebody else said be prepared to be totally absorbed by it. I have just got my hands on one this year and find myself taking a detour on the way home from work just to take a look and have a walk round.
