Hi just saying hello , this is the first time I have used this forum, We have 2 peacocks, 12 chickens, 7 ducks, 3 guniea fowl, 4 geese, pheasants, bees, 2 dogs, 3 cats,fish and 1 canary, 1 cockatiel,1 hamster, o and 4 children and hubby  :lol: - keeps me busy but worth every moment

Welcome CMFAN! We too have peacocks, we have 5 at the moment, 2 free in the garden, (that think their chickens!), and three in a large aviary. They are just starting their Spring "singing"!!

You'll love this Forum, lots of well informed people with whom you can share your trials and tribulations as well as your joys! There are people here with years of experience which they willing share with those of us a little way behind! Some postings also have me in stitches and lovely piccies too...hope you saw those last week of Babe's rescue hen in it's outdoor attire?!!!

hi to all - i will take some pics. next few days and post them here (will do my best to take some of the geese, but they have laid a large clutch of 9 eggs and are very nasty at the moment :twisted:  :twisted: )- as for vegetable growing - i am not that good, I enjoy my flower beds thou - with vegetables i planted potatoes last year and runner beans but only
dug-up half the potatoes and went and bought the rest i needed from the shop :oops: I don't know if they will still be ok in the ground - i must admit not really that interested in growing spuds,etc :oops:  - i do have strawberry plants thou - will have to try harder this year :oops:  :oops:

will let you know when i post pics

Such slackness! You wouldn't catch any of us being like that.
Just enjoy what you do - it's not a competition.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
