Minor disappointments
« on: June 08, 2022, 15:29 »
The Chilean guava I bought earlier in year gradually snuffed it and now the hardy Gardenia has just about had it.  Uchiki kuri seeds didn't germinate ( so sent off for plants shh ).
On the other hand all the usuals have trotted along nicely.  And the hablitzia ( Caucasian spinach ) has finally started to get into its stride.
Mystery sometimes why some plants flourish and others give up the ghost.
Dunno whether to try another Chilean guava

Yes, we always have those "why didn't that germinate/grow/fruit" moments, which can be disheartening. It's usually a case of "who knows?" pick yourself up and start again...
Concentrate on those things that do grow well, there's always something.. (hopefully not just the weeds  ::) That's what I do  ::)
