I went to the allotment the other day only to find I'd had a break in. Ok I admit the door wasnt locked but my shelter is an old WW2 anderson shelter and the door bearly closes let alone being able to be locked.Anyway, i was suprised that despite having some tools and a wheelbarrow in there the only thing that was taken was my bag of pelleted manure ! I told one of the committee guys who said he'd keep an eye out for anyone using manure !

So ive now got to buy a bike lock to tie the door shut, some people will nick anything !

Just being a cynic, it is most likely an indoor job though, which is quite common as muck.

I had my shoite taken     it was bagged up fresh from the stables but it was parked next to some bags of rubbish which I'd asked the council to collect. You guessed it! They took the manure and left the rubbish. When I complained they said my shoite must have been stolen  :evil:

A friend of mine had several bags of pelleted manure nicked from their plot too.  They said it was so stron and so much of it that if they used it all this year on one allotment then everything would die, so here's hoping they do just that, revenge and evidence in one swoop!
