My broad beans always get eaten by mice if I plant them outside, so this year I carefully planted them in modules and placed them in the greenhouse to germinate. Unfortunately I made the silly mistake of putting them on the ground
Sure enough, when I checked to see how they were doing, all the modules had been raided and the seeds removed
When I moved the empty modules there was a little pile of beans hoarded underneath. I've tried planting them again and put them on some staging, so we'll see how it goes. Live and learn (slowly)
