i grw some russian peas last year   very nice sweet large pea  but i forgot to save some seed.... as there expensive to buy      this year i got 1 pkt about 24 seeds      im going to leave them all for seed...thing is  will i need to protect them from the pea moth as there for seed next year    ty all

Well, yes!

If the pea moth get in, you may only rescue one or two seed from each pod, rather than the full pod full.

If they're the ones marketed as Russia 1cm pea - then yes  I have. They're quite tasty as you say, problem is I can't keep expanding the collection of peas!   I just do half a dozen or so heritage ones now, hopefully next year I'll only be growing self saved seed.

I have a chum who can rent you a 20,000 s.f. shed for your pea collection DD!

Reasonable rent and rates, and well suited for peas and other veg as well, so you could store your broad beans as well!
