roast parsnips
How do you grow 'em ready roasted?

Sweetcorn - last year none made it off the plot, just gobbled 'em down 'in situ'
Lettuce - when I can actually get them to grow before the slugs get them there are a couple of varieties that just seem SO much better than anything I've come across shop bought

Cheers,
Balders

I have decided that it is a tie between home grown new spuds and beetroot.
