Let us know how it goes.  I made some apple and lavender jelly as a winterval pressie for my mum a few years ago and she loved it.  Would be nice to have another recipe to add to the pressie list 

I've just made this, using fresh lavender flowers rather than dried, and half the amount of orange juice. It not only makes the house smell amazing, but the taste warrants a proper Sid James-style 'COOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR'

  Do we use the water or the flowers?

The water. I mushed mine to make it stronger, good job too since I dropped some of it on the way to the pan!
