Think I read somewhere that I could still plant out some spring onions and it isn't too late.....could they go into the bed that ive just dug the larger onions out off??

I have some coming up in a tub, i think i was early to sow over wintering ones i am sureit was august to sow.

It's not a good idea to sow them straight after the main crop, as they won't be ready until late spring - you'll want the bed before that for other things.

I've sown some as they are only taking a couple of months to mature for me though the next couple of months things will be slowing down.........

Worse case if they don't get particularly big you can still use them.

I sow mine in modulers 8 - 10 seeds per module then plant them out after 4 weeks they take up less room than if you sow them in rows. I have 8 or so bunches growing in quite a small space
