Hi all, my part-bantams have stopped laying, they all healthy apart from that, is it just too cold for them? Is time the only remedy, or shuld i install a radiator in their house? is this a winter thing, this is my first winter with the girls, what wintering tips could anyone offer?

I'd imagine that it's just a winter thing; mine stopped laying ages ago :roll:

Stopping laying for the winter is more about the light levels than the cold.

I am just hoping that, come the spring, they will remember what they are supposed to do.

I wouldn't put a radiator in as it would probably cause problems with condensation (?) . Is it very cold? I would give them extra bedding (straw).

thanks for that, i was only joking about  the radiator, but they are on a perch  overnight, d'you reckon i should put a shelf/box up and straw it out for the rest of winter?
