Ants in greenhouse

 :unsure:Can anyone give me advice on getting rid of ants in the greenhouse - I have a bad infestation at present. Also do they do any real harm to crops. They certainly sting if you get in their way!!

Ant powder does the job. The ants tend to make a nest exactly where they are not wanted and remove a lot of soil from the roots of plants. I like ants and leave them to get on with it elsewhere but not in my greenhouse. :)

Ants don't like Peppermint.  We've used the essential oil to clear out a nest before.  Just make sure you don't get it on your skin.
